McKinley Capital Management, LLC

The Jacobs Levy Equity Management Center for Quantitative Financial Research was established in 2011 to spotlight and expand the School’s strengths in quantitative finance, and to align the theoretical and practical aspects of the field through engagement with leading industry practitioners. McKinley Capital Management, a global systematic investing firm, has been an enthusiastic supporter of the Jacobs Levy Center since its early years.

“Thanks to the vision and generosity of Bruce Jacobs, G’79, GRW’86 and Ken Levy, WG’76, G’82 — and the leadership of the Jacobs Levy Center’s Academic Director, Professor Chris Geczy — Wharton continues to train students in the latest quantitative financial solutions,” says McKinley Capital’s President and Chief Investment Officer Rob Gillam, W’94. “As a Corporate Member of the Jacobs Levy Center, McKinley Capital values the opportunity to participate in the Center’s activities alongside academic experts and our industry peers.”

Corporate Members may engage with the Center in myriad ways — from interacting with Wharton faculty and scholars to speaking to more than 300 practitioners and academics at the Jacobs Levy Center’s annual conference to serving on the Advisory Board. “An industry leader like McKinley Capital provides the Jacobs Levy Center with the real-world perspective we need to ensure our work has relevance and practical application,” says Professor Geczy. “It’s an ideal confluence of academia and industry.”
